Dear dancers, we would like to start again after this long break and for this reason, we have organized a workshop of Lindy Hop and Solo Jazz with our two teachers Spela and Nejc.

? Date: 27th June
? Place: ASD Aztecan Academy. Via Josip Ressel, 8, 34018 San Dorligo della Valle Trieste.

? Programme (outdoors lessons):

• 16.30 Lindy Hop beginners
• 17.40 Open level
• 18.50 Solo jazz

Tuesdays (30/03, 06/04, 13/04, 20/04):

• Balboa classes: We will continue with learning new moves and work on good body movement, creativity within known steps, working on basic technique and add some stylish spices.

• Lindy Hop: In this round we will focus more on a social aspect of the dance. What makes a good and pleasant follower or leader? How to connect with music a bit more? How to find space for both dancers to express themselves and still respect each other?

• Solo Jazz: Within these 4 classes our body will become a musical instrument. We will play with basic solo jazz steps and add different sounds by clapping, snapping and slapping. We will spice up things by adding some tap steps and sounds with our feet.

We had just started swinging again and now … here we go again !!! This time, however, our reaction will not be long in coming!!! The Swing Freaks are pleased to announce the most danceable, sparkling, safest and most numerous course ever!

STAY FREAK AT HOME !!!

Everyone, absolutely everyone, will be able to taste our favorite dance again and maybe even approach the world of swing for the first time !!! We organized three weeks of free lessons with our amazing Nejc Zupan and Špela Premelč !!

The lessons will be organized on the zoom platform and divided into:

Tuesday:

– from 19.00 to 19.45 only jazz open class

– from 20.00 to 20.45 Lindy hop improvers / intermediate couple

– from 21.00 to 21.45 Lindy hop individual improvers / intermediate

Thursday:

– from 19.00 to 19.45 Lindy hop intermediate / advanced couple

– from 20.00 to 20.45 Lindy hop individual intermediate / advanced

– from 21.00 to 21.45 Balboa open class

Dear Freaks, following the DPCM of 18/10/2020 Swing Freaks will remain open and the activities will take place, as already happened last week, in an individually manner.

For this reason we are preparing an energetic choreographies and thematic classes for all levels.

For tomorrow, Tuesday 20 October, Solo Jazz remains unchanged at 7.15 pm; Frappè and Spuma will have a unique lesson from 20.20 to 22.20, learning two new choreographies: Shim Sham and Stroll from Ryan Françoise. We are waiting for you!

Classes 2020/2021 are starting!!!

We are back and We are ready to start dancing again!! We are super happy, and you?

Go to the section “Classes” to be updated about all the activties, how to participate and how it will work.

First lesson will be on Tuesday, 6^th October, at 7.15pm and then we will continue on Thursday 8^th October, from 8.15pm on, with other classes.

We are ready with classes of: Solo Jazz, Lindy Hop and Balboa!
